"...RETURN, YE CHILDREN OF MEN."

We are the waves of the sea. God is the lighthouse on the shore.

We are the ones tossed to and fro. God never changes.

We sin and leave God, only to be broken on the rocks. God calls us to repent.

"[God] turnest man to destruction; and sayest, 'Return, ye children of men." Psalm 90:3

What at first seems like a vindictive deity mockingly destroying humanity is in reality a holy, loving, everlasting Father calling out to His creation and saying, "Return to me."
